Transferring, backing up contacts for WM5,WM6 users

25 04 2009

The easiest tool that i have come across for transferring and backing up contacts and other personal information is PIM Concerning the personal information, it refer to contacts, appointments, tasks, messages, calls,…

The backup is totally independent of the version of Windows Mobile running on the device and independent of the device itself. The backup is also independent of the language used on the device. You can easily backup on a Chinese device and restore in a German one.

The binary based backup has been implemented in order to have a backup/restore process which is fast and more reliable, the disadvantage being that the backup contents cannot be easily modified or viewed. The text based backup has been implemented in order to see/edit the contents on a pc for instance.

Asus P320

8 09 2008

The Asus P320 is the latest Windows Mobile offering by Asus. It is one of the most stylish smartphones ever made by Asus. It is very light weight at just 105 gms. The Asus P320 is amongst the cheapest Windows Mobile smartphones with slightly better hardware specs compared to other smart phones in the same range. But it still is a good buy considering its price.

Pros:

  • Small size
  • Stylish Design
  • Good Build quality
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • Low RAM, Processor
  • Bad Camera
  • No 3G
  • No FM radio
  • No A-GPS
the biggest con is slower processor speed since half of the games wont work on a 200mhz mobile processor just like some softwares such as browsers like opera would respond slower with it + VOIP will be affected by this processor but this is what we can best get at this price range .
