update_1 : forgot to mention the all digital console that lotta people have been lookin for a long time .. although bajaj XCD has a total digi console but it looks bad and lacks a digital tacho.. also the centre of gravity of this bike is low giving a nice balance on treacherous turns 
update_2.1 : things that you wud’nt notice
- air cooled engine (no liquid cooling like tat with r15).
- 5 speed gearbox (nothing unusual here ).
- excessively colorful console.. looks awful.
- forgot to mention the all bullshit handle bar !
- overall specs are common and not like R15
- fragile tank and all other plastic cosmetics… definately not male

The specs took me to the skies…..I had almost bought the Honda Stunner when I realised there was an alternative…I was long looking for a stylish 150cc bike with a good kerb weight and here it is…:) Last time i had held back decision of buying the new GLadiator just for it’s 125cc which i felt less and i conveyed it to the dealer and now………… my dream has come true…
This bike has got the shape of their MT01 with a raising fuel tank and smaler hood…which gives u more commanding looks…Also the bigger radial tubeless tyres deliver greater performance and maneuverability ..I’m just thrilled to see it in my compound…:)

its a great bike i hvae booked it. it costs 75k in bangalore. it has amazing features. its definltely a pulsar killer. i was about to buy a pulsar. but at the rite time the bike got launched. so im not buying pulsar anymore. its awesome there is a waiting period of 3 weeks after the booking. that is really dissappointing. i want my hands on this baby as soon as possible.

Y-A-M-A-H-A FZ-16 no words to describe this bike. Killer looks no doubt the rear tyre is awesome u can take steep turns very easily. I had a test ride of this bike and i m on my way to purchase it on diwali. First i was thinking off to buy a bullet but then this killer bike i am in love with it. The sexy thing of this bike is it’s silencer which i liked the most, such a small silencer. I believe yamaha will once again rock the market. Don’t just look at the average. There are hundred of other things also to look on. No doubt about Y-A-M-A-H-A engines. My friend is having Y-A-M-A-H-A R-15 and it touches 130 – 135 kms within no time. Not like those pulsars and karizma’s which u have to twist so hard that it’s accelerator wire might get broked up.
Certainly it’s gonna be the bike of year and years to come Y-A-M-A-H-A FZ 16

this is not family bike because there is not comfortable space for secondperson.
pulsor, splender other bikes have space for 3 person, but this bike is not comfortable for two person so u cannt think about 3person.
this bike is only for single person.

For pickup Cbz xtrem is cool. pulsar is also cool but it’s parts quality isn’t good enough. Apache has good look but it doesn’t goes with tall persons.

The only problem in this bike is there is no kicker. But this is very critical problem also.If your bike stoped because of low battery, then what will you do? How can you start your bike?

It’s very good looking bike but we can only see it and dream of it. If we want to grab one it is very difficult since Yamaha is not feeding their deelers and one has to wait for 10-15 days min. Anybody in hurry can easily go for PULSAR or any second option. Yamaha will loose it’s market if they keeps on feeding like this.
I m also planning for PULSAR though i like YZ16.

This bike looks good, has good low end and mid-range power but mileage wise it is only around 35kms per liter.
I tested it myself.
I own this bike.. this iz a rocking bike, everyone on the streets keep starring at my bike.. & it gives average around 40-45. It think it can give even better latter.. Overall the bike is a real monster…. Gud luck YAMAHA.

I now own this beast in lava red & I must say,it was worth the wait.As good as it looks on the pictures & on TV,its even looking better in reality,& I got it for Rs.69000/- total with document expenses.Pick up is great,sound is excellent & smooth,mileage is not at all a factor as it gives an average of 40-50kmpl,not bad to me.Its a total attention grabber……..guaranteed.My advice to all…….if u want to buy it,just buy it,you wont regret it at all coz it has it all,looks & performance.

Price is Near About 71,000 ( Allahabad Grand Motors) which is little high but according to its features it is managible. Mileage is not prefered when you are looking for a good looking sporty bikes.
Mileage of this bike is On city condition is near about 40 to 45 KM/LTR.
Many unique features make this bike the first choice for all people which are going for purchasing the bike.
My own budget for the bike was 60,000 But after seeing this bikes I manage the rest money to purchase this bike.
I have initially 3 options for bike ( HUNK, CBZ-Xtreme and FZ-16).

there is no doubt that the bike is too good…it is the real attention grabber….
but i am sad to say that the management of yamaha india sucks…i visited three times to yamaha showroom which is located in malad ..the very first showroom of yamaha india pvt ltd in India, but they had not responded properly..Also they did not deliver the bike at the promised date.I think Yamaha should think abt the management…bcoz without the good management and customer satisfaction the company despite of its good brandname cannot grow in country like india.

Currently i am riding Hero Honda CD 100 SS bike,and i was planning to upgrade to Unicorn or Shine but after the lauch of Yamaha Fz-16,the only thing matters is upgrading my bike to FZ-16.Its really a superve bike with brilliant looks on 150 cc range bikes.Therefore i would like to thank yamaha for launching this bike in this market………

well…. i was going to buy honda unicorn…. as i thought silver will be to o kool ride… but now i m confused i saw this yahama fz in flaming orange…. n it made me its pry… i luv dis bike.. n i m proude to hav dis bike in my back yard here in nepal…. pulsar(din like it dat much) cbz( too old for me) honda unicorn( awesome but got better bikes) hunk…. nahhhhhhh!! fz on da way.. many have complaints on Alloy wheels(alignment), more smoke, mileage less than 40kmpl, fork noise, tyre flattening, disk brake jam, etc. Fz riders – Plz comment on these…
2. How do ladies find to sit at back of this bike. (Oneside)?
3. Is the Fuel tank made of plastics? In that case wat if the bike fells down?
